Planning can be revised during the year to update transport requirements depending on market changes. Every month (except October and November), changes can be made to the agreed annual programme for a maximum of 10% of the planned trains. Customers can request the start-up of new transport services and changes to the existing ones, such as running the train on a different day, or changes in some of the characteristics, while maintaining the time schedule provided by the company managing the infrastructure.
The programme of annual complete trains can also be integrated by: Additional Weekly or Daily Trains, and additional complete trains on already existing services, to complete the offer to customers, and satisfy unexpected or last-minute transport requirements.
Trenitalia Cargo ensures the quality of the service sold, in terms of respect of the agreed programmes, flexibility and capacity to respond to requests for changes of and/or additions to the programme, as well as respect for punctuality in making the transport available.
